A blockchain network fee (gas, essentially) is paid to miners or validators to process the transaction, and it's charged by the network, not by Binance. Binance itself does not typically add its own separate charge on top for crediting a standard crypto deposit.

Where the Confusion Comes From

Someone sending USDT on Ethereum (ERC20) pays whatever the Ethereum network's gas price is at that moment — sometimes a few dollars, sometimes much more during congestion. That fee is deducted before the deposit even leaves the sending wallet; Binance never sees or charges it.

Choosing a Cheaper Network

Because Binance supports many networks for the same coin, picking a cheaper one — BEP20 (BSC) instead of ERC20, for instance, when both sides support it — can meaningfully cut what you pay to get funds in, without Binance itself being involved in that cost at all.

BNB and Fees, a Separate Question

BNB's fee discount applies to trading fees once your funds are in and being used, not to the deposit itself — don't expect holding BNB to reduce a network gas fee.
