How Long a Binance Deposit Actually Takes, Network by Network
A Binance deposit's speed has almost nothing to do with Binance and almost everything to do with which network you picked.

The clock that matters is the blockchain's own confirmation time, not anything Binance controls — Binance credits a deposit once it has seen the number of confirmations it requires for that specific coin and network.
Why Networks Differ So Much
A network like BEP20 (BSC) typically confirms faster than a busier chain like Ethereum (ERC20) during congestion — the underlying blockchain's block time and required confirmation count, not Binance's processing, is what sets the pace.

When Pending Is Normal
Wallet > Transaction History shows a pending status with a confirmation count while the blockchain is still working through it — this is expected, not a sign anything went wrong, especially during periods of high network traffic.
When to Actually Worry
If the sending side confirms the transaction fully finished, and a long stretch has passed with no matching pending entry on Binance's side at all, that's the point to check the address and network you actually used before contacting support.
Speeding It Up Next Time
A few things actually help:
- Pick a faster-confirming network when Binance supports more than one for that coin
- Avoid known peak-congestion windows on the chain you're using
- Check Wallet > Transaction History rather than assuming based on the sending side alone
- Keep the transaction hash handy in case support needs it
