The account is typically restricted, including any active bots, and resolution of remaining balance follows a formal process usually involving a parent or legal guardian.

No Guardian-Managed Setup

There's no supported way for a parent to run bots or hold an account on a minor's behalf — the account must belong to the verified adult.

This applies even if the parent intends to supervise every trade closely — supervision doesn't change whose name and identity the account is legally tied to.

A Bot Configured by Someone Underage Is Still Not Allowed

It doesn't matter whether a strategy is run manually or through an automated bot — the underlying account still has to belong to someone who meets the minimum age requirement. Automation changes how trades are placed, not who's legally allowed to hold the account behind them.

The same goes for a bot set up by someone else on your behalf — the account, and the eligibility rules attached to it, are always tied to the verified identity on file, not to whoever happens to be configuring the settings.
