First: Confirm the Coin Was Actually Listed on the Network You Used

For a newly listed token, confirm MEXC actually supported the specific network you sent on at the time you sent it — networks get added over time, and using one that wasn't yet supported is a MEXC-specific failure mode a more established coin wouldn't have.

Second: Check the Contract Address You Used

If you sent based on a contract address, confirm it matched the exact one MEXC's deposit screen showed for that specific network — a bridged token's contract address differs per chain, and using the wrong one is not reversible.

Check the sending side's own transaction history — a transaction still pending there hasn't reached MEXC's deposit system yet regardless of anything else.
